I received a call from Ret. Southampton Town PO Joe Doory alerting me to an
up-coming event. Riverhead Town Police Officer Robert Sproston (28yr), US
Marine & RHD Vol Firefighter, was injured responding to a High Speed
Pursuit, on 4/2/20 has undergone several surgeries & rehab. I have
a confirmation from the RHPD PBA President John Marras, that Rob is being
discharged from St. Charles Hospital where he will be escorted (Home) by
SCPD, RHPD SHTPD,EHTPD, etc.to Calverton.
John M. has asked that BKNY15 join the escort from St. Charles. For not
available to escort via MC, Police & Fire Dept personnel will be lining his
street (LE on the Northside, FD on the Southside) to welcome him home.We
are encouraged to brig flag American, Agency, LE, USMC, USN, US Army etc.
