Good Morning All, For those that may have missed the email that went out
regarding Bill D'Ambrosia's passing. On March 4th he came to rest after due
to a few ongoing health battles. He was blessed to be to be at home
surrounded by loved ones.
Billy had asked (Tony P. Pres) months ago that BKNY15 provide his Funeral
Escort, when the time came. As we all well know the world has changed due
to this COVID-19 Pandemic, and we will have to adjust. I have been in
contact with (Billy's wife) Denise, she has asked that the members take
part in the "pass-by" at the Funeral Home on 5/12 (info below) and drive in
the procession on 5/13. *Billy is one of our own, *and I would like to
suggest to the D'Ambrosia Family that we provide an Escort Detail on 5/13.
These are uncharted waters and there will be some ebb & flow in this
event! *But
I need your help!* *I need a head count, asap of those that will
participate on 5/13/20 ... *before I make a commitment, and our turn-out is
poor. The WX looks good, but we will adjust accordingly. *If you WILL
ATTEND, send a TEXT to BKNY15 V.P. Marc Noen ASAP (631)459-7888 *with your
name & call back ph#. We will be wearing Parade Uniforms, Black/Blue, White
colored Shirt (best you can) Blue Knight Vest (LT Blue is Best), etc. More
to follow!
Dale Petruska Pres. BKNY15
Tuesday 5/12: 1200 - 1400 will be a 'drive by' wake due to the social
