We have a Brother in need! Please read!
I have recently learned that Billy D’Ambrosia (BKNY15 member since 7/11) took a terrible fall at home on 3/1/20, needing Brain Surgery on 3/2/20 for a Bleed. He survived that, and has been suffering from increased confusion and mentation related to that bleed. Diagnosed with a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), he has been admitted hospitalized four times since the surgery and is currently in St. Charles, with the added chaos of the COVID-19 fears, which has also prevented his family from being able to visit.

I have been contact with Denise D’Ambrosia (Billy’s wife), who is also a retired Professor who taught Physician's Assistants &Nurses preparing them for the medical field, and worked extensively with the Medical Staff at the VA Hospital. Billy is a Bear of a Man and a Fighter, who needs to get home so he can recover in familiar surroundings and his loved ones! The D’Ambrosia family Denise, Kristen, Dana and Tory, have asked for our prayers. GOD’S Healing Hand, Patients and Guidance!

Our BKNY15 Brother Bill D’Ambrosia (7-7-55) married to Denise, live in Ridge, NY and the father of three daughters: Kristen a Nurse at Mather Hospital, Dana with her husband Rick and 2 grandsons, Will & Ricky and Tory with husband Michael who have a baby on the way.
Billy worked as a NYS Sr. Court Officer who in 2004 was diagnosed with sarcoidosis of his liver, due to his 9-11-01 exposure, which eventually forced his retirement from the NYS Courts at age 54 due to complications. Which again proves Billy’s a fighter who needs your thoughts and prayers.
I’ve asked Denise to keep in touch and reminded her that we are their Blue Knight’s Brother & Sisters are here to help in every way!
She promised that she will!

Stay Safe!
Dale
