The Patriot Guard Riders of Pennsylvania have been asked to escort home the
cremains of Vietnam Veteran James Gartland on the final leg of his journey.
Sadly, his cremains were found by the owner of a storage unit, Angela
Schill after it had been abandoned. She tried for over a year to find the
next of kin or someone to claim the remains without success. She contacted
a very determined women by the name of Stacey Buckner. After some “Intense
detective work” Stacey was able to locate a Brother. Joe Gartland who lives
in Dillsburg Pa. Understandably Joe was distraught that his Brothers
remains were left behind. This remarkable woman Stacey promised Joe she
would personally see to it that James came home. She has requested that the
Patriot Guard Riders escort her as she keeps her promise and brings James
home to his family. We will pick up the escort at the Steinweir Ave Exit
Northbound on Route 15. The PD Motorcycles will meet them at the State
line, and we will join the escort as they arrive. Two Patriot Guard Riders
in vests will be blocking both lanes of the highway as we escort Stacey and
James to Dillsburg where he will be reunited with his family at the VFW
post 6771 in Dillsburg. There we will stand in silent honor of his service
to this Nation. James Gartland is a true American Patriot that has served
this great nation with honor. Now it's our turn to stand and honor him.

our destination in Dillsburg)
