[PGR_PA_r8] Eugene Butala US Army 1950-52 04 April 2019 Annville, PA The family of US Army Korean War Veteran, PV2 Eugene Butala has requested the Patriot Guard Riders stand to honor his service to our nation at his funeral service, and Internment Thursday, April 4th at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Eugene was a member of American Legion Post 173 in Tamaqua, who served in the Korean War before returning to the States where he was recruited to play football for Army. His love of sports carried through his lifetime where he coached not only football but baseball and basketball as well. Eugene G. Butala is a true patriot who served our country with honor and now it's our turn to stand and honor him. Internment: 1300 Hrs.
