We received a call last night from a very special family that became part
of our lives and our family when we were asked to stand for her special
family, Rebecca Brownlee Mikesell, Mother to Lauren.

A Mother's Special Request will be shared to our Patriot Guard Riders of
Pennsylvania Facebook Page, our Email Server and my Personal Facebook Page.

A Mother's Special Request

My PGR family,  I have a very special request.
My baby girl Lauren
has decided to follow her heart and join the Army. I am so proud of her!
Although she is excited to begin this journey, she is also a bit nervous.
I'm sure many of you understand and know this feeling. I would love to do
something special for her to help her stay focused on her goals.
Coming from a family that represents every branch of our military,  I have
decided to make a photo book with family photos, encouragement,  and well
wishes. Then I thought, why stop at family?  Why not give her a reminder
that there are people who are proud of our country and the men and women
who serve. Let her know that there's a supportive community beyond those
who know her personally and that her new brothers and sisters will be of
all ages and all branches.
I  humbly ask if you would be willing to share some words of wisdom,
 encouragement,  or a prayer (any denomination is welcome!) , and if you
would include a photo that would be greatly appreciated.
Please understand that this will be printed out as a gift and reminder, and
kept in her possession.
Thank you all so much. I  miss you all and send everyone hugs and love!
