*HOMES FOR OUR TROOPS - KEY CEREMONY*

*ABOUT THE MISSION: *
The organization, Homes for Our Troops, has completed the custom home for
Marine Cpl. Dan Lasko and his family!  The PGR and other like groups have
been invited to escort the family and to stand flagline to welcome them to
their new home for the key ceremony to begin at 10 AM.  Let's give this
family the welcome they deserve as they begin a new chapter in their new
home!
*Note:  If you are not participating in the escort, please go directly to
the home address to form the welcome flagline. *

*Dan's Story*:  In 2004, Cpl. Lasko and his unit were on a recon mission in
Afghanistan when an IED detonated as his vehicle drove through a pass in
Tarin Kot.  Dan lost his left leg below the knee and sustained a traumatic
brain injury.  After coping with his injuries for over 15 years, Dan is now
medically retired but it has taken a toll on him physically.  He resides
with his wife and two young sons but his current home presented a challenge
on days that he needed to use his crutches, knee scooter or wheelchair and
that is where HFOT stepped in.  Of note - You may have seen Dan in the
Pedigree Dog Commercial as the vet who goes to the shelter to adopt a dog!
