The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to join the Palmyra American
Legion Post 177  and Post 72  to honor a WWI Veteran, Maurice C Shively.

On July 25th Saturday at 1 p.m. at Palmyra PA Legion post 177  with Post 72
there is going to be a ceremony to give back a world war 1 flag that was
draped over the coffin of a war war I Veteran, Maurice C.Shively.  The flag
was given to post 177 to be retired .They recovered it  and it took them
several years to find a family .They  found the oldest living daughter and
she is 87 years old and  lives in Brick Two NJ. The flag is cotton, showing
48-stars. The ceremony  is going to be at 1:00 PM . She is getting escorted
by the American legion riders  and the flag is going to  be delivered by
American legion riders.  We  have been  asked  to join the Legion for the
celebration.  It'll be wonderful news for everybody to see this flag which
was held at post 177 Newport PA for several years.

We have been asked to join the escort at Iron Valley Harley Davidson and
escort  her to Palmyra American Legion for the ceremony at 1:00PM
