The family of US Army Vietnam Veteran SPC4 Richard M. Meredith Jr. has
requested that we stand in silent honor during his celebration of life and
committal on Tuesday 27 August. Richard served in the 173rd Airborne
division from 1968-1970. He was sent to Vietnam where he served on the
front lines as part of a 4-man stag team. Richard is the recipient of
Vietnam Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Combat Action Badge,
Marksman Badge, The Bronze Star, and the Purple Heart. We will stand to
honor Richard at his celebration of life at Zimmerman Auer Funeral Home.
After the service we will escort Richard to IGNC where we will stand in
silent honor of his service to this Nation. SPC4 Richard M. Meredith Jr. is
a patriot who served our country with honor and now it's our turn to stand
and honor him.

Stage at the parking lot opposite the rear of the PA Memorial, (turn left
at the US Flag Circle).  DO NOT PROCEED TO COMMITTAL SITE WITHOUT
PERMISSION.

*NOTE: Concealed carry permits are NOT recognized on military installations
and federal reservations. Indiantown Gap National Cemetery is a federal
reservation. Do not bring weapons or hazardous materials to this mission.*
