The family of US Army National Guard Major Becky Anne Sawyer has requested
the Patriot Guard Riders stand to honor her service to our nation at her
visitation and interment ceremony Tuesday, October 9. Major Sawyer was
still active in the Army Guard and is an Iraqi Veteran. She also had tours
in Germany and Estonia. Major Sawyer had 23 years of service both enlisted
and commissioned. Major Sawyer received Army Commendation Medal x4, Army
Achievement Medal x 6, Army Reserve Comp Achievement Medal x 3, National
Defense Service Medal x 2, Armed Forces Reserve Medal x 2, Army Reserve
Comp Overseas Training Ribbon x 9,Global War of Terrorism Service
Medal, Iran Campaign Medal Campaign Star and many more.  Following the
service in Enola, w*e will be escorting Major Sawyer and her family *to
Indiantown Gap National Cemetery for her interment with full military
honors.  Major Becky Anne Sawyer is a patriot who served our country with
honor and now it's our turn to stand and honor her.
