[PGR_PA_r4] Veterans Day 2021

*Dear PA PGR Members,*

*On November 11th our country will celebrate Veterans Day to honor all
Veterans past and present. The need to Remember and Honor these men and
women is as important today as ever. Many of our Heroes, past and present,
are simply forgotten and to forget them is an American travesty. Yes, PGR
has missions on Veterans Day, but remembering a Veteran can be as simple as
saying hello to a Veteran and thanking that Veteran for their service. *

*For those of our members who are Veterans, I want to thank all of you for
stepping up to serve our country. The Patriot Guard Riders will not forget
you and the sacrifices that you have made for our country and our freedoms.
As one of you, I understand that you continue to sacrifice for our country
and for your fellow Veterans. The Patriot Guard Riders salute all of you
and will forever call you Hero.*

*Remembering our Veterans would is not enough unless we remember that
approximately 22 Veterans die of suicide every single  day. We can help
reduce that number by remembering and talking to our Veterans. If you
suspect that a Veteran, young or old, needs help, please make an effort to
talk to that Veteran and try and guide that Veteran to seek help. Many
Veterans need someone, particularly other Veterans to talk to. A Veteran in
need could be a father, mother, brother, uncle, or a friend or co-worker .
. . please do not take someone's talk about suicide lightly. If you have
nowhere else to go for help, please contact our State Captain or one of our
Assistant State Captains. We need to change that 22 Veterans die of suicide
a day to 0 Veterans die of suicide a day. *

*Thank you all for what you do . . . you are Heroes too and it is an honor
for me to stand with you.*
