 Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Marcia D. Vecchio, U.S. Navy veteran to stand in silent honor then escort her to New York, a PGR Pony Express, from Truth or Consequences, New Mexico to Fredonia, New York where her family will scatter her ashes in a private ceremony.

Marcia joined the U.S. Navy in March 1973 as a Seaman Recruit and was honorably discharged November of 1975.After time served, Marcia became a PGR member in Pennsylvania and also lived part of the year in Las Cruces, New Mexico where she also joined 
the PGR in June 2008 and was an active member up until her passing.Marcia was also a member of American Legion Post #494 in Girard,PA where she supported the Legion Honor Guard, traveling around the country, teaching Honor Guard procedures to other American Legion members.Marcia served our country with honor, it is now our turn to honor her.Sunday, 19 January 2020
