ABOUT THE MISSION


The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited to stand in silent Honor and
Respect for Edward A. Byland, 86 U.S. Air Force Veteran for his final
services on Friday, 18 June 2021.

Ed was a graduate of East Liverpool High School, and he was a proud United
States Air Force Veteran, serving in Germany. He retired from AT&T after
many years of service because he was going to be a proud grandpa and he
wanted to spend more time with Katie.

He was a member of Faith Community Church; he was also a member of the
American Legion Post #121 and VFW Post #6450 in Chester. You could count on
Ed to be at the VFW every morning enjoying a cup of coffee and then he
would head out for his morning walk through Chester. He enjoyed spending
time with his family, and he was the one person that you could always
depend on. You never had to ask Ed to do something he just did it and was
honored to have done it.
