The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited by the family of Joseph Vincent
Delaney, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran to stand in silent honor by Flag Line
for his service then escort to the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies for
the interment*.*

Joseph proudly served the U.S. Marine Corps, assigned to Motor Transport
Company,Service Battalion in Quantico,Virginia, having served overseas
during the Vietnam War, a total of 4 years and 5 months and honorably
discharged with the rank of Sergeant after a total of 6 years of service.

Decorations include the Combat Action Ribbon, Presidential Unit Citation,
Good Conduct Medal W/ 3 Oak Leaf Clusters, National Defense Service Medal,
Vietnam Service Medal W/ 5 Oak Leaf Clusters, Vietnam Cross of Gallantry
Medal W/ Palm and the Vietnam Campaign Medal W/ 1 Oak Leaf Cluster.

Joseph served our country with honor, it's now our turn to honor him.

Members can attend all of a mission or any part of the mission. PGR sets no
time for a member to escort and or stand a mission. We Thank you for
whatever time you give us and the families of our heroes appreciate your
time.

*Remember that the National Cemetery is a Federal Reservation and NO
WEAPONS are permitted. Also, masks are no longer required for those fully
vaccinated.  If not fully vaccinated you are required to wear a mask while
social distancing, during the service, interment and if indoors.*

*Also, before heading out please watch the weather, dress accordingly and
bring your 3 X 5 hand held American flags.*
