The Patriot Guard Riders have been invited, to stand in silent honor by
Flag Line for the Beaver County War Memorial Dedication Ceremony, honoring
Beaver County's Fallen Heroes from the Gulf War and the War on Terror.

Honor Roll Call:

Major John W. Macroglou U.S. Marine Corps KIA, age 34 of Center Township,PA
Assigned to the 24TH Marine Amphibious Unit Camp LeJeune, NC., Marine Corp
Battalion Landing Team 1-8 Beirut.

Major Macroglou was one of the 241 Fallen Heroes who lost their lives on
the 23 of October of 1983, the bombing of the U.S. Marines Corps Beirut
Barracks in Beirut, Lebanon during the Lebanese Civil War. Two truck bombs
detonated by suicide bombers and struck buildings that housed U.S. and
French Military members of a multinational peacekeeping force, killing a
total of 299 service personnel (241 American, 58 French), along with six
civilians and the two suicide bombers. It was the deadliest single-day
attack against U.S. Marines since the battle over Iwo Jima in 1945.

Dedicated in 1984 on the first anniversary of the attack, a Memorial of our
Fallen is located beneath a cedar tree in Section 59 at Arlington Cemetery.
Its inscription reads, "Let Peace Take Root". This cedar of Lebanon Tree
grows in living memory of the Americans killed in the Beirut Terrorist
Attack and all victims of terrorism throughout the world. 21 U.S. service
members killed in the Beirut Barracks Attack are buried near the marker.
All are in Section 59, Arlington National Cemetery.


Private First Class Timothy R. Brown Jr. U.S. Army KIA, age 21 of Conway,PA
Assigned to D Company, 519th Military Intelligence Battalion, Fort Bragg,
NC. was killed in action by an explosive device while traveling in a convoy
in Taji, Iraq the 12 of August 2003.


Sergeant Ernest G. Bucklew of Darlington, U.S. Army KIA , age 33 of Enon
Valley, PA
Assigned to Support Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, Fort Carson,
CO. was killed in action from an attack on a CH-47 Chinook helicopter near
Fallujah, Iraq, the 2nd of November of 2003.


Specialist Shawn M. Davies, U.S. Army, age 22 of Aliquippa, Hopewell
Township,PA
Assigned to the 4th Battalion, 5th Air Defense Artillery, 1st Cavalry
Division Regiment, Fort Hood,TX. passed on the 8th of July 2004 from a
non-combat related illness in Baghdad, Iraq.


Private Dylan R. Paytas U.S. Army KIA, age 20 of Freedom, PA
Assigned to the 3rd Brigade Troops Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division, Fort
Benning, GA. passed on the 16th of November 2005 from injuries sustained
from multiple gunshot wounds in Baqubah, Iraq.


Sergeant Allan R. Bevington, U.S. Army KIA, age 22 of Beaver Falls, PA
Assigned to 40th Engineer Battalion, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 1st Armored
Division, Baumholder, Germany passed on the 21st of September 2006 of
injuries sustained when an improvised explosive device detonated near him
during combat operations in Ramadi, Iraq.


Sergeant Joshua J. Rimer, U.S. Army KIA, age 24 of New Sewickley Township,PA
Assigned to the 4th Engineer Battalion, Fort Carson, CO. passed on the 22nd
of July 2009 of wounds suffered when an improvised explosive device
detonated near his vehicle in Zabul Province, Afghanistan.


Sergeant Robert C. Sisson Jr., U.S. Army, age 29 of Aliquippa, PA
Assigned to 1st Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team,
4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, CO passed on 21 February 2011 in a
non-combat incident in Saryah Kalach, Afghanistan.


Staff Sergeant Dylan J. Elchin. U.S. Air Force KIA, age 25 of Beaver and
Hookstown,PA
Assigned to the 26th Special Tactics Squadron at Cannon Air Force Base, New
Mexico and was killed in action by an improvised explosive device in Ghazni
province, Afghanistan the 18th of November 2018.

Captain Andrew Patrick Ross USA KIA, age 29 of Lexington, VA
Sergeant First Class Eric Michael Emond USA KIA age 39, of Brush Prairie,
Washington
Sergeant Jason Mitchell McClary USA KIA, age 24 of Export, PA


Please join us to Honor Our Fallen, all who served our country with honor,
it's now our turn to honor them.

time for a member to escort and or stand a mission. We Thank you for
whatever time you give us and the families of our heroes appreciate your
time.

bring your 3×5 hand held American flags.
