The Coronavirus continues to impact more communities around the country and
the world.  Public health officials are warning the public, especially
those that are sick or vulnerable based on age and/or a pre-existing health
condition, to practice social distancing and avoid large group activities.
To that end Cemetery Operations is providing guidance for immediate
postponement regarding public gatherings and ceremonies at the National
Cemetery (now through April 15, 2020).



Therefore, due to the guidance I received, the Monthly Moment of
Remembrance (MMOR) for April 1, 2020 will be postponed.



Please accept my sincere apologies for the postponement.  As soon as I know
when it will be feasible to continue with the MMOR, I will pass it on to
you all.
